Women's Soccer Falls at #27 Dayton 2-1

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Richmond women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss to #27 Dayton tonight. The Spiders fall to 7-6-1, 5-2-0 in the Atlantic 10 while the Flyers improve to 15-1-0 and remain undefeated in the conference with a 8-0-0 mark.
Junior Annette Isham (Denver, Colo.) gave the Spiders a 1-0 lead midway through the first half when her 30-yard shot sailed over the Dayton goalkeeper. Sophomore Kelsey Blank (San Mateo, Calif.) assisted on the goal.
Dayton evened the score with 16:59 remaining in the half as a Flyer goal was headed in by Reba Sedlacek.
The Flyers scored again in the second half off a corner kick to take a one goal lead. Alicija Bredlo tallied the goal and was assisted by Jen Simonetti.
The Spiders were outshot 24-5 in tonight's contest.
Junior Kelly Kolker (McLean, Va.) recorded seven saves for Richmond.
Richmond faces Xavier on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
