Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Honor

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Junior Hillary Prince (Plano, Texas) was one of 33 players honored by the NSCAA as she was named to the 2004 Women's Soccer All-Mid-Atlantic second team. Nine players from Virginia universities were recognized by the organization.
At back, Prince appeared in all 19 contests, with 18 starts, for the Spiders and tallied three goals. Prince was a key part of the Richmond defense that posted a 0.83 GAA and recorded nine shutouts. Scoring both Spiders goals against Xavier (10/24), Prince also tallied one assist on the year. In addition, she was honored to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference first team.
The University of Richmond women's soccer team posted its eighth consecutive winning season after making its fourth straight appearance in the Atlantic 10 Championships this year. The Spiders ended the 2004 campaign with an overall record of 10-8-1 and a conference mark of 7-4-0.
