03/31/2004 | Women's Basketball
March 31, 2004
As what many consider the most successful season in program history, Richmond's year was highlighted with contests against nationally-ranked opponents, a seven-game win streak, a second-place finish in the Atlantic 10 West Division and an appearance in the semi-finals of the WNIT.
The Spiders left their mark on the women's basketball program, re-writing the record book and setting a high standard for teams in the future.
