Baseball Hosts Dayton In A-10 Action

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va.-Atlantic 10 action continues for the University of Richmond baseball this weekend as the University of Dayton comes to town for a three-game series. TODAY is a single game at 2 p.m. and Saturday is a doubleheader beginning at Noon.

The series between the Spiders and Flyers began in 2002 when Richmond joined the Atlantic 10 conference. UR leads the all-time series 6-0.

The Spiders faced Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. Wednesday evening and came out on top 10-8. Richmond's 10 runs came in the first four innings and it was able to hold on to the lead as the Hokies began a rally and posted its eight runs in the final six innings.
And The Hits Just Keep On Coming...
Second baseman Ben Zeskind is currently riding a 10-game hit streak, which breaks his prior career hit streak of nine. During his streak, which began on April 18 against George Washington, the Miami, FLa. native went 4-for-4 on April 21 and he has also tallied five doubles.
