Richmond has held all eight opponents to under 60 points this season, the longest such stretch since the 1946-47 season.

Richmond grabbed a season-high 34 rebounds, out-rebounding VCU by a 34-23 margin. It was just the second time in eight games this season that Richmond has out-rebounded its opponent, the other coming against Seton Hall on Dec. 1.
This was the first of two-straight games against Colonial Athletic Association teams, marking the first time Richmond has played two CAA teams in a season since the Spiders' last season as a member of the conference in 2000-01. Richmond will host Old Dominion on Dec. 20 and will play its third CAA team of the season when it hosts William & Mary on Dec. 31.
