Kevin Steenberge had three blocks against Arkansas State which moved him to fourth all-time in career blocks with 93. Steenberge was sixth entering the game, but passed Steve Kratzer (1984-88) and Eric Poole (1994-98), who had 91 and 92 blocks respectively.
This was Richmond's first game outside of the Robins Center this season. The Spiders opened the year with four-straight home games. Richmond will play on a neutral court again Sunday, before playing their first road game of the season against Louisville on Monday night.

Until the final two minutes of the game, Spiders trailed by no more than 14 points, and cut the gap to 11 six times (and nine once) in the second half.
The Spiders did not have a player reach double figures in scoring for the first time in over four years.
Richmond is in the midst of its most intense stretch of games since 1920, playing four games in five days. The Spiders defeated Seton Hall on Thursday night, had a day off Friday and are playing three games in three days in the Colonial Classic.
Kevin Steenberge has made 11-of-19 field goals (.579) over his last two games.
After not hitting a 3-pointer in his first three years at Richmond, Steenberge has made a trey in his last three games.
Louisville played before an almost capacity crowd in the first game of the Colonial Classic, but 18,000-seat Freedom Hall was nearly empty for the game between Richmond and Arkansas State.
