Richmond Baseball Postpones Tuesday's Contest Against Virginia

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond head coach Ron Atkins has decided to rescheduled his team's upcoming midweek contest with Virginia (8-3). Due to inclement weather in the Richmond area, Atkins and UVA head coach Brian O'Connor have agreed to move the game to Wednesday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Pitt Field. The two teams were originally scheduled to play at Pitt Field, Tuesday, March 1 at 2:30 p.m.
The Spiders trail in the all-time series with the 'Hoos 56-67-2, and have lost the last two meetings. Atkins is 14-23-1 against the Cavaliers in his 20 years at Richmond.
