
Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision to Massachusetts

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of Massachusetts (10-6, 2-0 A-10) downed the University of Richmond (6-7, 0-1 A-10), 4-3, this afternoon in Atlantic 10 women's tennis action.
In the singles competition, the two teams split six matches. The Spiders captured wins at #1, #3 and #5.
The doubles point proved to be the deciding factor with both squads winning one match, but Massachusetts earned the point after taking the #3 match by default.
Richmond faces Temple on Saturday afternoon in Phildelphia.
