
Women's Tennis Tops James Madison 5-2

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Richmond won all but one of the contested matches and defeated James Madison 5-2 in women's tennis on Wednesday afternoon.
The visiting Spiders didn't field competitors at the No. 3 doubles or the No. 6 singles positions but otherwise lost only two sets.
Richmond improved to 10-8 while JMU suffered its first loss of the season and fell to 6-1.
Senior Lindsay Cox and junior Meghan Wolfgram led Richmond. They combined for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, and both lost only one game in singles wins.
JMU's victory came at #5 singles.
