Women's Soccer Faces UNLV At Sports Backers Friday

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's soccer team won't have to travel far for its third road tournament in as many weeks when the Spiders play in the VCU/Eurosport Invitational this weekend at Sports Backers Stadium.
Richmond (2-2-0) will play UNLV on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and face Florida Atlantic on Sunday at 11 a.m.
UNLV is making its first trip to the East Coast in the programs eight-year history. The Rebels are off to a 3-1 start to the season, riding a two-game winning streak.
Florida Atlantic is 2-2 having won its first two games of the season against Monmouth and South Florida, and then dropping the next two games to Miami (Fla.) and No. 3 ranked UCLA.
Richmond freshman Jessie Wolfe (Germantown, Md.) is the reigning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week and leads the Spiders with six points coming on a team-high two goals and two assists. Sophomore Ali LeVIne (Avon, N.J.) also has two goals through the first four games.
