Richmond is 3-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference openers, having lost the last two.

The Spiders gave up a season-high 67 points, just the second time Richmond allowed over 60 points this season.

Richmond made six 3-pointers in the game, giving the Spiders at least six 3-pointers in the last six games for a total of 45 during that stretch.

Junior Peter Thomas tied a career-high with 13 points, making 5-of-7 field goals and 2-of-3 shots from behind the 3-point arc.

Junior Gaston Moliva made all five of his field goals to score a season-high 14 points, one short of his career high. Moliva also tied a season high with eight rebounds, had two assists and two blocks.

By making all five of his field goal attempts, Moliva increased his team-leading shooting percentage to 61.1 percent (22-for-36).

Red-shirt freshman Jarhon Giddings made a 3-pointer for the fourth-straight game and the fifth time in the last six games. He is shooting 9-of-17 (.529) from behind the arc in the last four games.

Sophomore Oumar Sylla made two 3-pointers and tied a career-high with nine points. He has now made multiple 3-pointers in three of the last five games with seven treys in that span.

Richmond tied a season-high for blocks with seven, led by Jermaine Bucknor's career-high three.

Senior Kevin Steenberge blocked two shots to bring him to 28 this season and 111 for his career. He is currently fourth on Richmond's all-time career list, 22 behind Johnathan Collins (1999-2003).

Moliva's two blocks gives him 88 for his career. He is in seventh on the school's all-time list, three blocks out of the sixth spot which is held by Steve Kratzer (1984-88) for sixth at 91 blocks.

Bucknor was held without a 3-pointer for just the second time this season.

La Salle's 35 first-half points tied the most given up by the Spiders in the first half this season.

Richmond dropped to 6-3 at home this year and is now 299-145 (.673) in the Robins Center in the arena's 34-year history.
