Richmond lost its third-straight game, the Spiders' first three-game losing streak of the season.

The loss snapped a three-game home winning streak and dropped the Spiders to 9-4 in the Robins Center this season.

The game featured 19 lead changest and 10 ties.

This was the 11th time this season Richmond led at the half (28-27), but was just the second time the Spiders lost when leading at the break.

Richmond tied a season-low with three 3-pointers made.

Senior Kevin Steenberge blocked one shot putting him in sole possession of the third spot on Richmond's all-time career list for blocks with 134. He passed Johnathan Collins (1999-03), who had 133. Steenberge needs one block to tie Jeff Pehl (1979-83) for second on the all-time list.

Sophomore Oumar Sylla scored a career-high 12 points in 26 minutes of action.

Junior Gaston Moliva scored 10 points for the second-straight game. He has reached double figures four times this season and 12 times in his career.

Senior Jermaine Bucknor scored eight points, snapping a streak of seven-straight games that he had scored in double figures.

The Spiders have allowed over 60 points in three-straight games after having done so just two times through the first 19 games.

Wednesday's game was one of just two home games during the month of February. The Spiders only other game in the Robins Center this month is Feb. 18 against No. 8 George Washington.
