Morse Finishes Third In 1,500-Meter Run At Villanova Twilight

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Senior Diana Morse finished third in the 1,500-meter run at the Villanova Tuppeny Twilight on Monday.
Morse ran the 1,500 in a season-best time of 4:38.90 to finish third out of 24 runners.
Sophomore Neil Slotterback finished eighth in the javelin with a throw of 157-feet-10 and sophomore Brendan Regan took 38th in the 1,500 in 4:13.03.
Richmond will have five athletes competing at the NCAA East Regional Championships, to be held May 26-27 at North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, N.C.
Senior Nicole Kurtain will compete in the 3,000 steeplechase, junior Beth Crocus will compete in the javelin and hammer, and junior Lindsey Smith will be in the javelin. Freshman Jessica Young will run in the 200 and 400 dashes, while freshman Jasmine Major will compete in the 100 hurdles.
