UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
Junior Tim Hightower and sophomore Josh Vaughan, two explosive members of the stable of high-powered Spider running backs, will be heading to Buffalo Wild Wings, 7801 West Broad Street, Wednesday night to appear with Coach Dave Clawson on this week's edition of The Spider Sportsline. The weekly radio show is broadcast live from 7-8 o'clock on ESPN Radio 950 and RichmondSpiders.com.
Hightower and Vaughn combined for 185 yards rushing in Saturday's victory over Bucknell. Vaughan, a local product from Hermitage High School, scored two touchdowns.
Also this week, Spider Club Director Elise Myers will be a part of the show, giving fans an update on the on-campus stadium brick campaign and the upcoming Spider Club auction, set for Thursday Oct. 26 as part of Homecoming activities.
Each week at Buffalo Wild Wings, Spider Club members and students will receive a special discount off their bill between 6-9pm. When the Spiders score up to 19 points, the savings is 10 percent; 20-29 points is 20 percent, and 30 or more points is 30 percent. Last Saturday's 48 point outburst means the discount this Wedensday is 30 percent!
Fans are encouraged to be a part of the show by calling (804) 345-0950 or 233-7680. Out-of-town listeners can call toll-free at 1-877-994-4950. Or, send an email anytime to spidersportsline@richmond.edu
