Women's Golf Takes 12th At Kentucky Wildcat Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Richmond women's golf team finished 12th at the Kentucky Wildcat Invitational, which concluded Monday at the University Club's Big Blue Course.
The Spiders concluded the three-day 54-hole tournament with a 988 after shooting a 338 Monday.
Sophomore Anne Sprick tied for 28th with a 232 after carding a 79 on Monday. Sprick shot a 78 in the first round Saturday and a 75 in the second round Sunday.
Sophomore Lauren Folgosa tied for 56th at 243 (79-76-88) and junior Rosario Germino finished 65th (84-81-83=248) and senior Alex Latimer was 72nd (86-87-88=261). Sophomore Victoria Kidder withdrew from her round on Monday.
The Spiders return to action in two weeks when they host the Spider Fall Invitational Oct. 15-16 at Independence Country Club.
