Game Time Changed For Men's Basketball Home Game Jan. 3 Vs. Virginia Tech

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The game time of the Richmond-Virginia Tech men's basketball game Thursday, Jan. 3 in the Robins Center has been moved to 6 p.m. to accommodate fans interested in watching the FedEx Orange Bowl football game later that night. Kickoff for the Virginia Tech - Kansas matchup is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
The Richmond-Virginia Tech game will be televised by CSTV, which was able to move its coverage from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. and air the game live nationally, as originally planned.
This will be the first visit by Virginia Tech to the Robins Center since Nov. 29, 1991 when the Spiders defeated the Hokies 84-51. The Spiders have won the last five meetings between the two teams in the Robins Center.
