
Women's Golf Takes 11th At UNCW Invitational

WALLACE, N.C. - The Richmond women's golf team finished in 11th with a 956 at the UNCW Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at River Landing Country Club.
Richmond finished the day right where they started, in 11th pace, after carding a 322 in the final round. The Spiders had shot duplicate rounds of 317 in the opening two rounds Monday.
Sophomore Rosario Germino finished the tournament tied for 38th with a 236 (77-81-78), while senior Ashley Lambert tied for 48th with a 238, carding her best round of the tournament (77) on Tuesday. Lambert shot a 78 and 83 in the first two rounds.
Freshman Victoria Kidder tied for 53rd at 241 (78-77-86) and freshman Anne Sprick tied for 65th with a 246 (85-80-81). Senior Alex Latimer tied for 79th with a 253.
The Spiders return to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Georgia State Invitational.
