Women's Golf In 10th Place Out Of 17 At Lady Panther Invitational

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - The Richmond women's golf team is in 10th place out of 17 teams after the first round of the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate, played Monday at the par-72, 6,009-yard Eagle's Landing Country Club.
The Spiders shot a 304 Monday and sit two strokes out of eighth place, three strokes out of sixth. Fifth place Memphis (300) has a four-shot lead on the Spiders.
Senior Ashley Lambert shot a 2-over-par 74 and is tied for 17th. Freshman Victoria Kidder and freshman Anne Sprick each shot 4-over 76s and are tied for 26th. Sophomore Rosario Germino is tied for 50th with a 78 and freshman Lauren Folgosa is in 89th after shooting a 90.
The second and final round of the 36-hole tournament will be played Tuesday with a shotgun Tuesday morning.
