UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond senior Ashley Lambert was named to the All-CAA First-Team, marking her the third time she earned all-conference honors in her career.
The senior from Bradenton, Fla. led the Spiders with a 79.15 stroke average playing in 10 events this year. Her best finish was tying for sixth at the CAA Championship to end her career. Lambert also posted a 12th place finish at the Spider Fall Invitational.
Lambert had earned second-team All-CAA honors as a freshman and junior, but this is her first appearance on the CAA first-team.
"This is a great way to end her career," Richmond head coach Leighann Rastede Albaugh said. "We're going to miss Ashley. We're sad to see her career come to a close."
Lambert's seventh-place finish at the CAA Championship left her just outside of the all-tournament team. Richmond freshman Victoria Kidder earned CAA All-Championship honors after tying for fourth.
