
Women's Tennis Concludes Play At William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Richmond freshman Emese Kardhord concluded her first collegiate tournament with a first place singles finish, winning the Flight E Finals at the William and Mary Invitational, where the Spiders have been competing this weekend.
The Spiders competed against top teams such as Maryland, William & Mary, Virginia, Princeton, Duke, Boston College, Arkansas and Penn among others.
A native of Budapest, Hungary, Kardhordo came out with her fourth singles victory of the weekend, defeating Melissa Hoffmeister of Arkansas in the Flight E finals, while junior Xenia Schnieder (Oberusel, Germany) recorded a win over Old Dominion in a consolation match.
The Spiders will continue their fall schedule next weekend, Fri.-Sun., at the Wake Forest Invitational.
