The Spiders tacked 642 yards of total offense on Northeastern Sept. 8 to set a school record. Saturday's performance at Bucknell is the second-most. Five of Richmond's Top 10 total-offense games have come since 2005.
The Spiders' 405 yards rushing as a team ranks as the third-best single-game total in history, behind the 443 at NU earlier this season and the 430 versus Villanova in the 2000 campaign.
Richmond improves to a perfect 13-0 under Clawson when scoring 30+ points in a game. The Spiders' last loss when reaching the 30-point plateau was Sept. 29, 2001 - a 31-30 setback to 14th-ranked Villanova.
The Spiders are now 9-4 on the road since the start of the 2005 season and 12-9 all-time on the road under fourth-year head coach Dave Clawson.
Richmond improves to 22-for-22 producing points on drives of 80 yards or longer. Of the 22 drives, 20 have resulted in touchdowns - two today (drives of 91 and 80).
Sophomore K Andrew Howard, who drilled a 40-yard field goal, remains perfect on the season in the kicking department. He has converted all 15 extra points and made both his field goal attempts.
Howard continues to add to his school-record of 49-consecutive made PATs, remaining perfect for his college career.
The 40-yard field goal was the fifth-longest of Howard's career and the sophomore is now four-for-five on FG attempts between 40 and 49 yards.
