LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Richmond women's goal team is tied for 13th after the first round of the Kentucky Wildcat Invitational, played Saturday at the University Club of Kentucky.
The Spiders shot a 327 and are tied with Marshall, two strokes behind 12th place Indiana and five strokes back of 10th-place Memphis.
Richmond sophomore Anne Sprick led the Spiders with a 6-over-par 78 in the first round, which has her in a tie for 38th. Sophomore Lauren Folgosa is tied for 43rd with a 79. Junior Rosario Germino is tied for 60th with an 84, senior Alex Latimer is tied for 69th at 86 and sophomore Victoria Kidder is tied for 73rd at 88.
The second round of the Kentucky Wildcat Invitational will be played Sunday and the final round will be Monday.
