THE TEAM

This was the first time this season that the Spiders trailed by more than four points at the half. Richmond trailed by seven (36-29).

Richmond made 10 three pointers, tying for the second-highest total this season. The Spiders made a season-high 14 three-pointers in the win over William & Mary and also made 10 against Marist.

Richmond grabbed a season-low 18 rebounds and gave up a season-high 18 second-chance points. The Spiders also gave up 22 points off turnovers.

The Spiders had 10 steals, marking the third-straight game Richmond has had at least 10 steals and seventh time this season. Richmond is second in the Atlantic 10 in steals at 9.4 per game and has had at least six steals in every game this season.

The Spiders gave up a season-high 81 points to Saint Joseph's. The previous season-high was 80 against No. 2 ranked Memphis. Richmond has allowed 70 points or more just six times in 15 games this season.

Six different players made a three-pointer for the Spiders, marking the fourth game at least six players made a trey for Richmond this season.

The Spiders shot 47.9 percent from the field, the sixth time this season Richmond has shot over 45 percent from the floor.

The Spiders dropped to 0-7 all-time at Saint Joseph's and all seven of those losses are by double-figures. Richmond did defeat the Hawks 78-68 last season in the Robins Center.

THE PLAYERS

Sophomore Ryan Butler tied a career-high with five three-pointers. He also made five threes on Nov. 25, 2006 against Old Dominion. With 15 points he was one short of his career high for points. He has scored in double-figures four times this season, including the last two games, and 12 times in his career. Butler also had three assists and one steal.

Sophomore Dan Geriot scored 15 points for his 29th time in double-figures in his career and the 10th time this season. Geriot also had six rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Freshman Kevin Anderson scored nine points and had three steals. Anderson entered the game fifth in the Atlantic 10 in steals and is now averaging 2.0 per game.

Sophomore David Gonzalvez and freshman Kevin Smith both fouled out for the second-straight game.
