Spider Football Telecast Available In Robins Center Saturday

Men's basketball, football and women's basketball all come together at the Robins Center this Saturday, Dec. 13, for an unprecedented day of Spider sports.
The action begins at 2 p.m. with the Farm Bureau Insurance Black & Blue Classic men's basketball rivalry as the Spiders host VCU on ESPNU. Following the game, the University of Richmond Athletic Department is providing big screen TVs in the Robins Center, and encouraging fans to remain to watch the ESPN telecast of the Spider football team at Northern Iowa in the NCAA National Semifinals. Kickoff is 4:05 p.m. ET.
The undefeated women's basketball team, originally scheduled to play immediately following the men's game, has moved its contest with Towson to 8 p.m. in the Robins Center
Tickets for the Farm Bureau Insurance Black & Blue Classic start as low as just $5, and include admission for all events. Concession stands will remain open throughout both basketball games and the football telecast. The UR SpiderShop will also be open, offering a 20 percent discount on all sales throughout the day.
Locally, ESPN Radio 950 will broadcast the men's basketball game in its entirety beginning at 1:30. WLFV-FM 93.1 will broadcast the football game in its entirety beginning at 3:30 p.m. with ESPN Radio 950 joining the broadcast following basketball. Audio coverage of men and women's basketball, and football, is available at RichmondSpiders.com. SpiderTV will provide live video streaming of the men and women's basketball games.
