STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - Freshman Jillian Fraccola is tied for 22nd and the Richmond women's golf team is in 13th after the first round of the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate, played Monday at Eagles Landing Country Club.
The second round of the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, will be held Tuesday afternoon.
The Spiders shot a 331, one stroke ahead of CAA conference rival Xavier and four strokes behind 12th place Arkansas State. The John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate features 10 teams ranked in Golfstat's Top-100 rankings.
Fraccola shot a 6-over-par 79 on the par-73, 6,144-yard Eagles Landing course. She is just one shot out of 16th place, two shots out of 13th and three strokes out of eighth place.
Senior Alex Latimer shot and 82 Monday and is tied for 49th, while freshman Christina Gray is tied for 60th at 84. Sophomore Lauren Folgosa is tied for 66th with an 86 and sophomore Anne Sprick is tied for 70th with an 88.
