Each week a player from the Richmond women's soccer team is featured as the Spider Spotlight Player of the Week. This week's Spider is sophomore goalkeeper Melissa Pacheco. Pacheco took some time to answer a few questions about herself and her time at Richmond.
Why did you decide to play soccer at the University of Richmond?

What are your career goals?
To work in the creative department of a major advertising company

My big brother, he's the man

I can open doors with my feet

Being with the team that I love

Krin- "Mexican Jewish Catholic babe."
What did you do over the summer?
Worked soccer camps
What is your favorite part of the game?
What do you love to do as a player? Making the big save
What are your fears?
The real world after college, but I'll figure it out
If you were "in charge" for a day, what would your first act be?
To adopt all the dogs in shelters
Who is your best friend on the team, and why?
Krinny, because she's my roommate and always has my back.
What is your goal as a UR soccer player?
To win an A10 Championship
