Join football coach Mike London as he welcomes men's basketball coach Chris Mooney on The Spider Sportsline at Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St., Tuesday, from noon-1pm. The weekly radio show airs live on ESPN 950 and RichmondSpiders.com.
Fans, alumni and corporate partners are encouraged to enjoy lunch at Outback and be a part of the show, which will include phone calls, questions from the audience and emails.
Coach London's fourth-ranked, 11-1 football team is preparing for Saturday's quarterfinal showdown at UR Stadium against Appalachian St. The two schools have combined to win the past four NCAA Division I titles.
Coach Mooney's men's basketball team (6-1) is coming off victories over Mississippi St. and Missouri - both NCAA tournament teams last year - en route to the South Padre Island Invitational championship. The Spiders, off to their best start since 2000-01, host Old Dominion Wed. night.
