Special Basketball Spider Sportsline Set For Tuesday At Outback

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - With the men's and women's basketball teams a combined 13-3, a special edition of The Spider Sportsline with men's coach Chris Mooney, women's coach Michael Shafer and players is set for Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St., Tuesday, from noon-1pm. The radio show airs live on ESPN 950 and RichmondSpiders.com.
Coach Mooney's 7-1 men's team visits cross-town rival VCU Saturday night. Junior center Dan Geriot is scheduled to be a part of Tuesday's show. Coach Shafer's women's squad is 6-2, coming off an impressive triumph at VCU Sunday. Junior guard Brittani Shells is scheduled to be at Outback for the radio show Tuesday.
Fans, alumni and corporate partners are encouraged to enjoy lunch at Outback and be a part of the show, which will include phone calls, questions from the audience and emails.

There will be NO Spider Sportsline Dec. 15, 22 or 29. The show returns every Tuesday throughout the college baskteball season beginning Jan. 5, airing live from Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St., from noon-1 p.m. on ESPN 950 and RichmondSpiders.com.
Outback is open for lunch Monday-Friday at 11:30am and Sundays at noon, with a variety of new lunch specials.
