THE TEAM

The Spiders had their lowest scoring half of the season in the first half with 13 points, and their highest scoring half in the second with 52.

Richmond had eight steals against Temple. The Spiders have had at least eight steals in 11 of the last 15 games and at least five steals in 53 of the last 55 games.

The Spiders held Temple to 36.4 percent shooting, the eighth time this season Richmond has held the opposition to under 40 percent shooting. Richmond dropped to 11-2 in games that it has a better shooting percentage than its opponent.

THE PLAYERS

Junior Greg Stevenson scored 38 on Jan. 12, 2001 against McNeese State in the Robins Center.

Junior Ryan Butler scored 12 points for his third time in double-figures this season and the 17th double-figure scoring game of his career. He also tied a season high with three steals.
