Spiders Announce ESPN 950 Baseball Broadcast Schedule

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The University of Richmond and its flagship radio station ESPN 950AM have released an eight-game baseball broadcast schedule for the 2009 season, which begins Saturday afternoon with the Spiders hosting Dayton at 2 p.m.
The broadcasts are available live on ESPN Radio 950AM locally in Richmond, and via the internet on the station's website (www.espn950am.com).
The former play-by-play voice of the Richmond Braves, Robert Fish, will handle the call of Saturday and Sunday's games versus Dayton. Saturday's air time is 1:55 p.m. for a 2 p.m. first pitch, while Sunday's air time is 11:55 a.m. for the noon game.
Fish will also call the April 18th game versus Duquesne (2 p.m.) and the May 2 game versus Temple (2 p.m.). Matt Smith will call the Sunday games of each of those series. Richmond baseball SID Mike DeGeorge will handle the play-by-play for the road contests at VCU and Old Dominion.
