First Bus To Duke Full, Waiting List For Bus No. 2

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond Department of Athletics has announced plans to sponsor a fan bus to the Spiders' 2009 season-opening football game at Duke, set for Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
On July 30, the Spiders announced the first bus is full, and a waiting list has begun for a second bus. The second bus will be confirmed once enough seats have been filled.
The cost of the bus trip is $45 per person ($70 for both the bus and a game ticket) and can be purchased by calling Erin Lears in the Athletics Office -- (804) 289-8694 or via email at erin.lears@richmond.edu.
Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that credit cards will not be charged and checks will be not be deposited until the trip is confirmed. If the minimum travelers is not met by August 19, the trip will be cancelled.
The bus will travel non-stop in each direction, departing the Robins Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 and dropping fans off at the Richmond Alumni Tailgate at 5 p.m. The bus returns immediately following the game. Please arrive at the Robins Center no later than 1:30 p.m.
The Athletics Department requests that no alcohol be brought on the bus.
