Women's Golf Takes Sixth At Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Richmond women's golf team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the Princeton Invitational, completed Sunday at Springdale Country Club.
The Spiders shot a 316 in the opening round and 319 in the second round to finish at 635 for the 36-hole tournament.
Junior Jillian Fraccola and freshman Courtney Rousse tied for 25th at 158. Fraccola shot a 3-over-par 75 in the opening round and an 83 in the second round. Rousse shot an 80 in the first round and a 78 in Sunday's final round.
Senior Anne Sprick tied for 30th at 160 with rounds of 79 and 81. Senior Lauren Folgosa and freshman Tracy Martin tied for 37th at 162, both shooting opening round 82s and final round 80s.
The Spiders return to action Oct. 3-4 at the Penn State Invitational.
