Men's Basketball Announces 2010-11 Home Game Times

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond will play seven afternoon home games in 2010-11, including noon games with Xavier and Saint Louis that will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Spiders will play St. Bonaventure at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 on CBS College Regional and Duquesne on Saturday, March 5 at noon on CBS College Sports National. Richmond will play a pair of Sunday home games at 4 p.m., facing Charleston Southern as part of the Chicago Invitational Tournament on Nov. 21 and Bucknell on Jan. 2.
For the second-straight year, the Spiders will play an afternoon weekday game, hosting Southern as part of the Chicago Invitational at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 23, before heading to Chicago for Thanksgiving weekend.
All of Richmond's remaining home games will be played at 7 p.m., including the season opener on Friday, Nov. 12 against the Citadel when the 2010 NCAA Tournament banner will be raised to the rafters.
Promotions for the season opener include a $5 ticket with a Military I.D. card, a Martins 2 for 1 ticket special and dollar hotdogs and small sodas. Season ticket holders also will receive a voucher to bring a friend for free to the opening game.
Richmond went 14-1 last season in the Robins Center last season, the best home record when playing double-figure home contests in school history.
