PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -
La Salle scored two first half-goals and never looked back as the Spiders fell, 2-1, Friday night in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Explorers got on the board in the 32nd minute after a pass was sent into the left side of the goal. La Salle scored three minutes later off a header via way of a corner kick to take a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.
Richmond responded with an unassisted Shondel Archer tally four minutes into the second half, but could get no more scores.
Kat Russell and Melissa Pacheco had seven saves in goal.
The Spiders travel to Fordham Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. kick.
