Team Notes
Richmond now owns a 3-1 record in its first four games ever played at Robins Stadium... The Spiders are 3-0 this season when wearing their red jerseys.
Since the start of the 2005 season, Richmond has scored first in 45 of the 73 games and is 38-7 when doing so.
Richmond improved to 2-0 this season when leading at the half and is 45-4 when leading at the half since the start of the 2004 season.
Richmond improved to 41-33-6 all-time on Homecoming and has won seven of its last 10 Homecoming games.
Towson's touchdown with 1:58 left in the third quarter was the first TD scored against Richmond in 49:43 of game clock time. The last TD allowed by the Spiders came midway through the second quarter at UMass.

Collected 29 yards on two kickoff returns Saturday and is now just 35 yards shy of the CAA Football career record of 2,433 yards (Villanova's Brian Westbrook)
Senior LB Eric McBride
Recorded his second fumble recovery of the season (seventh in his career).
Had eight tackles Saturday, and moved into a tie for fifth on the Spiders' all-time tackles list with 401... Now just 29 tackles shy of second-place.
Saturday was his 50th-consecutive start, which remains the longest active streak in CAA Football
Senior DT Martin Parker
Collected a team-high 12 tackles Saturday, including 1.5 sacks and moved into a tie for 10th on Richmond's all-time sacks list with 16.0.
Saturday was Parker's 50th career game played at Richmond (49th career start)
Redshirt freshman RB Jovan Smith
Recorded his first rushing career touchdown.
Tied his career-high with 10 rushing attempts.
Junior CB Tremayne Graham
