Wann Tabbed Women's Soccer A-10 Rookie of the Week

Richmond's Becca Wann garnered All Rookie honors after tallying three goals as Richmond went 2-0 over the weekend. This is the second award for Wann as she earned a Player of the Week nod in October.
Wann started her stellar weekend by scoring twice in Richmond's 4-0 rout over visiting Duquesne Friday night. Wann found the goal by way of Emily Dale on the first tally and scored 14 minutes later from Dale and Sarah Scheurich.
Wann notched the game-winner in the Spiders' 2-1 victory over the Bonnies Sunday after a shot deflected off the post, the ever-present Chesterfield native was there to head the ball back in goal.
Wann completed her standout freshman campaign leading the Spiders in nearly every statistical category: goals (10), points (21) and shots (70). Wann's 70 shots are good for fifth for shots in a single season.
The All Conference women's soccer teams will be announced Wednesday.
