THE TEAM
Richmond improved to 3-0 at home this season and 17-1 at home over the last two seasons. The Spiders have won eight-straight home games.
Richmond is off to a 3-1 start for the fifth time in six seasons under Chris Mooney.
The Spiders are undefeated in regular-season tournament play over the past two seasons, having won all four games in the South Padre Island Invitational last season and are 1-0 in the Chicago Invitational Challenge.
Richmond had 30 field goals, the second time in four games the Spiders have made at least 30 field goals. The Spiders have at least 27 field goals in all four games.
The Spiders are averaging 17.3 assists per game after dishing out 17 against Charleston Southern.

THE PLAYERS
Senior Kevin Anderson scored 16 points as he moved into seventh on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,611 points, passing Peter Woolfolk (1984-88), who had 1,604. Anderson needs 19 points to tie Curtis Blair for sixth. Anderson had a season-high four steals and now has 171 career steals, which is sixth on Richmond's all-time steals list, three steals behind Ryan Butler for fifth and four steals behind David Gonzalvez for fourth. Anderson has scored in double-figures 87 times in his career, including 80 of the last 86 games.
Sophomore Darien Brothers scored a career-high 15 points, making all six of his field goal attempts and all three of his three-point attempts. Brothers is shooting 60.9 percent from the field (14-of-23) and 58.3 percent from three-point land (7-of-12), averaging 9.3 points per game.
Senior Justin Harper scored 12 points for his 39th-career double-figure scoring game, including his fourth in as many games this season and his 12th in the last 14 games. Harper, who has 857 career points, is averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game, shooting 64.9 percent from the field (24-of-37) and 62.5 from three (10-of-16). Harper had three blocks, which gives him 71 for his career, which is just three blocks from cracking Richmond's top-10 list.
Junior Francis-Cedric Martel scored 11 points for his sixth-career double-figure scoring game and first of the season. Martel made 4-of-7 field goals, including a three-pointer.
