THE TEAM
• The home team has won 16 of the last 17 meetings between the two schools. Since the former CAA rivals rekindled the series as non-conference foes in the 2005-06 season, the teams have split six meetings.
• Richmond took a season-low 1 free throw, coming with 1:27 remaining in the game, while Old Dominion made 15-of-20 free throws. The Spiders scored 33 points in the paint.
• The Spiders made 29 field goals, the sixth time in eight games that Richmond has made at least 27 field goals in a game.
THE PLAYERS
• Senior Kevin Anderson scored 23 points for his 91st-career double-figure scoring game, including his 31st-career 20-point game. Anderson has made 103 consecutive starts, which is tied for the longest active streak in the nation. He made a career-high five three-pointers in six attempts. Anderson had 2 steals to give him 174 career steals, tied with Ryan Butler for fifth, just one steal behind David Gonzalvez for fourth. Anderson now has 1,688 career points, which ranks sixth on Richmond's all-time scoring list.
• Freshman Cedrick Lindsay scored a career-high 15 points for his third double-figure scoring game. Lindsay made 6-of-10 field goals, including both three-point attempts.
• Senior Justin Harper scored 14 points for his 41st-career double-figure scoring game, including his 14th in the last 18 games. Harper also tied his season high of eight rebounds for the third time this season.
• Junior Darrius Garrett blocked a season-high 4 shots, giving him 76 for his career, which moves him into 10th on Richmond's all-time career blocks list, passing David Hensel (74). Garrett needs 3 blocks to tie Jim Springer for ninth.
