THE TEAM
Richmond, which entered the game shooting 51.3 percent from the field, connected on a season low 39.2 percent on Saturday.
The Spiders were out-shot from the foul line 29-10.
Georgia Tech improved to 6-4 against the Spiders.
The Spiders allowed Georgia Tech to shoot 44.7 percent from the field, just the fourth time Richmond has allowed a team to shoot over 44 percent from the field. The Spiders have lost three of the four games they have allowed over 44 percent shooting.
THE PLAYERS
Senior Justin Harper scored 15 points for his 43rd double-figure scoring game, including his 17th in the last 21 games. Harper now has 950 career points, 50 away from becoming the 40th player to reach 1,000 career points.
Senior Kevin Anderson scored 12 points to move into fourth on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,735 career points, passing former teammate David Gonzalvez (1,727). It was Anderson's 94th career double-figure scoring game, including his 87th in the last 93 games.
Sophomore Darien Brothers scored 10 points for his fifth-career double-figure scoring game.
Senior Dan Geriot scored two points to move into sole possession of 27th on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,129 career points, passing John Telepo (1,127).
