WRIC-8: The Road To Rhode Island
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Take a look back at the behind-the-scenes special that WRIC Channel 8's Phil Orban put together on Richmond's road trip to Rhode Island in early February.
The Spiders battled the snow and the Rams, and came out victorious in dramatic fashion. See the Spiders at practice, on the chartered flight and in the locker room for this Channel 8 News Special.
The victory over Rhode Island put the Spiders in first place and, after defeating St. Bonaventure the following Saturday, Richmond was ranked in the Top 25 for the first time in 24 years.
