UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - Less than a month before the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship, the Spiders return to action this weekend at the Lou Onesty Invitational hosted by the University of Virginia. The meet opens Friday afternoon, with a full schedule on tap for Saturday.
Stay tuned to RichmondSpiders.com throughout the weekend for updates.
Richmond is coming off a strong showing at the Colonial Relays last weekend, at which senior Megan Ney won the long jump and freshman Dana Guglielmo posted a second-place finish in the 3,000m steeple with the fastest time in the NCAA by a freshman this season. Guglielmo's efforts earned her A-10 Rookie of the Week honors.
Following this weekend's Lou Onesty Invitational, the Spiders will compete at both the Mount SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. and the VCU Invitational next weekend.
