Baseball Alumni Weekend Set For November 12-14

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - Richmond baseball head coach Mark McQueen has announced the dates for the Spiders' alumni weekend, which is set for November 12-14, 2010. All former Spider players are invited back for the weekend that includes a golf outing and home football game.
"I am very excited to announce the return of our alumni event," said McQueen. "We have a tremendous group of baseball alums who are very supportive of the program. This should be a great weekend and we hope for a big turnout."
The weekend consists of a golf outing at Hunting Hawk Golf Club on Friday, Nov. 12 with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Saturday the Spider Football hosts Rhode Island at the new Robins Stadium at 2 p.m. Sunday will be Alumni Baseball Skills & Thrills Challenge at Pitt Field at 12 p.m.
Registration for Alumni Weekend is available online. If you're unable to attend, the Baseball Program still asks you to complete the online Alumni Questionnaire in order to update the team's alumni database.
Please note, there are both a limited number of golf spots and football tickets, so register quickly!
