Spider Spotlight On Kristen Lybert

Each week a player from the Richmond women's soccer team is featured as the Spider Spotlight Player of the Week. This week's Spider is Kristen Lybert. Lybert took some time to answer a few questions about herself and her time at Richmond.
Why did you decide to play soccer at the University of Richmond?
I always wanted to play division 1 soccer, and this school seemed like the perfect fit. All the girls love being here and work hard to reach their goals.
What is your major? Why?
It will most likely be Psychology because I really enjoy learning about the different disorders and how to treat them.
What are your career goals?
I want to be able to do what I love and get paid for it, whether that is in psychology or another field. I think that would be the ultimate job.
Who is your role model?
My brother, Brian.
What is a hidden talent?
Playing piano.
If you could take a road trip anywhere, where would you go?
Florida
What has been your most memorable moment at Richmond thus far?
Assisting in the Longwood game, it was awesome to hear all their fans become quiet when we scored!
The best thing about being a Spider is?
Being able to represent an amazing school through athletics.
If I had to sing karaoke, what tune would you belt out?
Don't Stop Believing
What did you do over the summer?
I went to California with my best friend and did Insanity!
What is your favorite part of the game?
Playing offense and making great plays that result in goals.
What is the biggest obstacle or challenge that you have had to overcome?
I think it will be coming by from my ACL tear.
What is your goal as a UR soccer player?
I want to help make a difference on the team and contribute to winning an A10 title!
