THE TEAM
Richmond had two players score 20 points for the second-straight game and the third time in the last 5 games.
The Spiders shot under 40 percent for just the third time this season and just the second time in nine home games the Spiders have shot below 45 percent from the field. Richmond is 7-0 when shooting above 45 percent from the field and 0-2 when shooting under 45 percent.
Richmond had a season-high 12 steals and blocked seven shots, two shy of its season high.
THE PLAYERS
Senior Kevin Anderson scored 20 points to move into third on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,856 career points. Anderson passed Ed Harrison (1,843) and needs 289 points to tie Mike Perry (2,145) for second on the all-time scoring list. It was Anderson's 101st career double-figure scoring game, including his 17th this season. It was his 35th career 20-point game, including seventh this season.
Senior Justin Harper scored 25 points for his 50th career double-figure scoring game, including his 16th in 18 games this season. It was Harper's 10th 20-point game, including his sixth this season. Harper had three blocks, which moves him into ninth on Richmond's all-time career blocks list with 85, passing Johnny Newman (84).
