THE TEAM
• Richmond shot 35.6 percent from the field, just the fifth time in 22 games that the Spiders have shot under 40 percent from the field. The Spiders are 2-3 when they shoot under 40 percent from the field.
• Xavier shot 49.1 percent from the field, the highest shooting percentage for a Spider opponent this season, surpassing the previous high of 48.2 in Richmond's other conference loss to Rhode Island.
• The Spiders gave up 49 second half points, the most points Richmond has allowed in a half this season.
THE PLAYERS
• Jermaine Bucknor for seventh on Richmond's all-time career list. He blocked two shots, giving him 92 for his career, which passed Steve Kratzer for eighth on Richmond's career list.
• Dan Geriot scored 15 points for his third-straight double-figure scoring game, his 10th this season and the 59th of his career. Geriot moved into 20th on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,244 career points, passing Warren Mills (1951-55/1,233) and Aron Stewart (1972-74/1,237).
