THE TEAM
Richmond shot 35.6 percent from the field, just the fifth time in 22 games that the Spiders have shot under 40 percent from the field. The Spiders are 2-3 when they shoot under 40 percent from the field.
Xavier shot 49.1 percent from the field, the highest shooting percentage for a Spider opponent this season, surpassing the previous high of 48.2 in Richmond's other conference loss to Rhode Island.
The Spiders gave up 49 second half points, the most points Richmond has allowed in a half this season.
THE PLAYERS
Jermaine Bucknor for seventh on Richmond's all-time career list. He blocked two shots, giving him 92 for his career, which passed Steve Kratzer for eighth on Richmond's career list.
Dan Geriot scored 15 points for his third-straight double-figure scoring game, his 10th this season and the 59th of his career. Geriot moved into 20th on Richmond's all-time scoring list with 1,244 career points, passing Warren Mills (1951-55/1,233) and Aron Stewart (1972-74/1,237).
