Wo Men's Soccer Returns Home This Weekend

Richmond (9-4-2, 3-1-0) returns home for the first time since Sept. 11 to host Xavier and No. 21 Dayton this weekend.
Richmond Lately: The Spiders currently hold a 3-1-0 mark in league play and have nine points, which is good for second place. Since starting its seven-game road swing, Richmond has gone 6-1 and enjoyed a season-long five-game win streak. Richmond is fourth in the A-10 in goals (23), goals per game (1.53) and second in assists (27).
Wann Of The Best: Becca Wann has followed up her 2010 A-10 Rookie of the Year campaign in fitting fashion, leading the Spiders in goals (13), points (32) and shots (73) this season. Wann's 13 tallies are tops in the league and rank sixth nationally. Wann is also sixth in total points (32), fifth in game-winners (5) and 12th in points per game, 14th in goals per game.
Road Warriors: Richmond played seven-straight on the road, going 6-1 in this span. The only loss came at Duquesne in a 1-0 setback, when a goal went through in the game's 80th minute. The Spiders have outscored opponents 15-6 in the past seven games. Richmond went 2-0 in the UNC-W Invitational, taking home the crown, while Wann came away with Most Valuable Player honors.
Home Is Where The Wins Are: Richmond is 4-0-1 at home this season and plays four of its last five games at Robins Stadium. Xavier will be Richmond's first home opponent since Sept. 11.
Scouting Xavier: The Musketeers come into Friday's contest with a 5-6-1, 0-3-0 mark. Xavier dropped a pair of contests to Fordham and league-leading LaSalle over the weekend. Three players lead Xavier with two goals apiece.
Scouting Dayton: The Flyers dropped to No. 21 in the NSCAA National Rankings after suffering a 2-1 overtime loss to La Salle. Dayton (11-2-0, 2-1-0) holds a 7-2-1 edge in the series with the Spiders.
