The Richmond women's soccer team hosts two games this weekend in its last home stand of the season.
Richmond will honor its seven seniors Friday in a 7 p.m. game against Rhode Island at Robins Stadium. Friday is tabbed 'Soccer Night' as local youth club teams in the area are encouraged to attend and wear their uniforms and support Spider soccer.
Sunday's 1 p.m. game is slated as 'Can UMass' day. Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a canned food item to donate to the UR Thankful initiative and help give back to the Richmond community.
The UR Thankful Fall Festival will take place Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Westhampton Green. Admission is $5 per child. The UR Thankful initiative is a service project facilitated by various Greek organizations on campus.
Richmond's 11 wins are the program's most since 2003. The Spiders will compete in next week's A-10 Tournament in Dayton, Ohio.
