Miller's steady round, which he pared 15 holes and birdied two others, helped the senior from Timonium, Md. secure his ninth career Top 20 finish and third this season. Miller posted a one-over 217 (74-72-71), which was good for a T15th, at the 54-hole event at the Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C.
Richmond entered Tuesday's round in 15th place, but a tournament-low 294 jumped the Spiders into a tie for 11th in the 18-team field with a score of 893 (300-299-294).
Junior Nick Austin enjoyed a bounce-back final round by firing an even-par 72 and finishing T69th with his 231 score (81-78-72).
Freshman Danny Pizetoski collected a T55th finish after posting a 77 Tuesday and a 227 for the tournament (75-75-77). Sophomore Jack Wilkes (76-79-74) and freshman Colin McDade (75-74-80) each carded 54-holes scores of 229, which was good for T62nd.
Georgia stormed to the team title with an 834 and beat Liberty by three strokes. The Bulldogs' T.J. Mitchell was the individual medalist with a 15-under 201.
This event wrapped up the Spiders' fall schedule, and the team returns to action Feb. 20-21, 2012 at the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.
