Spiders Win 7th Straight Road Game To Improve To 18-6

BRONX, N.Y. - Kevin Anderson scored all 14 of his points in the first half as Richmond jumped out to a 31-11 lead on the way to picking up its seventh-straight road, defeating Fordham 77-60 Saturday.
The Spiders (18-6, 7-2 Atlantic 10) improved to 4-0 on the road in Atlantic 10 play and 9-3 away from the Robins Center this season. Richmond is now 13-2 in its last 15 Atlantic 10 road games.
Anderson made 5-of-11 field goals, including four of his first five three point attempts. He also dished out five assists and had three steals as the Spiders won by double-figures for the 15th time this season, including the sixth time in conference play. All of Richmond's 18 victories are by at least eight points.
Justin Harper led the Spiders with 16 points, making 7-of-14 field goals, including two three-pointers. Dan Geriot scored 15 points, also making 7-of-14 field goals and grabbing five rebounds.
Francis-Cedric Martel scored nine points, making 3-of-4 field goals, grabbed six rebounds, had two assists and three steals.
Kevin Smith had six points and six assists, while Darien Brothers also scores six points.
The Spiders had 11 steals and had 21 assists on 30 field goals as head coach John Beilein into sixth on the school's all-time wins list.
Richmond plays Atlantic 10 rival George Washington on Wednesday night in the nation's capital at 7 p.m.
