Wo Men's Soccer Hosts Longwood Friday

The Richmond women's soccer team returns to campus for the first time since 2008 when it hosts Longwood at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Robins Stadium.
The Spiders have played the previous two seasons at nearby Ukrop Park due to Robins Stadium renovations.
Richmond was tabbed third in the preseason A-10 poll, with reigning A-10 Rookie of the Year Becca Wann garnering preseason All Conference first team accolades. Wann led the Spiders with 10 tallies and was second in the league with four game-winning goals. Wann's 70 shots took fifth on Richmond's single season list. Wann was an All-Rookie and All Conference selection last season.
After Friday's contest, Richmond will travel to No. 10 Virginia for a 7:00 p.m. game Sunday night in Charlottesville.
Richmond hosts Old Dominion Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Robins Stadium in its next home game.
